Commission Process

While fantasy character art is my main topic, I am happy to explore pretty much all themes, including gore or NSFW. I have the right to refuse a commission for whatever reason, but that has not happened yet - don't be shy to explain your idea to me so we can find the best solution for your request!You can message me with your request either on Instagram or via e-mail. Please provide me with detailed information about the motif you want, I can work with a detailed description but prefer if you add some visual references as well (please no AI references! If you don't find fitting reference pictures otherwise, just describe it to me). Please consider a place like a Google Drive folder to easily organize all references.I will get back to you once it's your turn on the waiting list. Payment will then be made via PayPal directly before I start. You can either pay the full price upfront, or part upfront and the rest after you approve the sketch.I will send you several work-in-progress pictures during the process so you have the chance to request changes. Please try to make your expectations as clear as possible to avoid friction and extra fees.If you need me to keep the artwork secret for a specific time (birthday gift, book release etc.), just communicate it before and it should be no problem. Should you want to keep it secret forever/for a very long time, I may charge an extra fee though.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Commission Details
The Client confirms that the provided reference images are of the best quality available and that they properly described all desired details.

Compensation
The Client pays the agreed price in Euros via Paypal. It can be either paid in full before the Artist begins the commissioned work, or a deposit of 25,00 € is due before the Artist begins the commissioned work, and the remaining balance is due upon approval of the sketch.
In accordance with § 19 UStG, the amount does not include sales tax.

Process and Revisions
To allow the Client to inspect and communicate with the Artist about the progress of the artwork and request any necessary revisions, the Artist will send several Work-in-progress pictures.
It is the Client's responsibility to communicate with the Artist regarding any discrepancies between the Client's standards and the artwork execution.
Change requests made during the sketch stage of the artwork are free of charge. If the Client asks for alterations during a later stage of the painting process, the Artist may charge an additional fee as they see fit, depending on the alteration‘s extent. The painting progress will be stalled until the additional fee is paid.

Delivery
The timeline to complete the artwork is subject to change depending on the artist’s availability and the artwork's scope. The Client agrees and understands that revision requests may delay the final delivery of services. The Artist will do the best of their ability to deliver revised artwork in a timely manner and agrees to communicate any significant delays to the Client.
The final artwork will be delivered digitally in .jpg or .png format via Email, Google Drive or Discord, as the Client prefers.

Refunds
Should the Client wish to cancel the contract, the Artist agrees to refund a proportionate amount of the price as they see fit, depending on the artwork‘s progress.
The contract cannot be cancelled and refunded after completion of the artwork.

Usage Rights
The Artist retains all copyright of the produced artwork.The Artist retains the right to show the artwork, its progress pictures and possible progress videos in their portfolio, social media, exhibits, competitions, etc.
The Artist may agree to keep the artwork secret for an additional fee.The Client assures that they own the rights of the displayed characters.The Client may use the commissioned artwork for their private use only. Any reproduction of the work that will be used for profit or commercial uses is only allowed after the additional purchasing of a commercial licence.When sharing the artwork publicly, the Client agrees to give the Artist credit though clear and visible labeling, tagging or verbal acknowledgement. The Client will not permit any use of the Artist’s name or misuse of the Commission which would reflect discredit on the Artist’s reputation, or which would violate the spirit of the Commission.Any editing (except cropping for an avatar/banner/etc.) is prohibited.Under no circumstances shall the artwork be used in AI training datasets or used to create non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
